Senior Manager of Front of House Operations

We are excited to accept candidates for the role of Senior Manager of Front of House Operations. This position reports to and assists the Senior Director of Front of House Operations with planning, execution, and oversight of general front of house operations at all sites. The most crucial aspect of this role is ensuring efficient and successful daily operations for the front of house. This is a very hands-on role that requires a motivated individual who can problem solve, communicate effectively, and lead a team of managers with guidance from the Senior Director. This is a full-time position with excellent healthcare benefits and a 401(K) plan.


Administrative

  • Oversight of front of house site managers for all Wigle Whiskey and Threadbare Cider restaurants, bars, and bottle shops
  • Hold weekly manager meetings where managers give monthly reports and weekly site updates
  • Relay any pertinent information to site managers
  • Weekly scheduling audits with managers
  • Weekly purchasing audits with managers
  • Pulling and analyzing monthly reports with the Senior Director

People

  • Resume screening, interviewing, and onboarding for non-managerial front of house staff
  • On-site recurring training of FOH staff
  • Monthly-out check ins with new hires

Site Needs

  • Ensuring sites maintain weekly inventory needs
  • Assisting with discretionary purchasing
  • Communicating with the facilities team regarding any maintenance issues

Quality Assurance

  • Daily site check ins
  • Weekly on-the-floor support
  • Weekly site cleanliness audits

Customer Interaction

  • Responding to customer feedback and reviews
  • Responding to or redirecting customer correspondence

Education

  • Assisting with quarterly staff product and service training
  • Training new tour guides
  • Working closely with the production and kitchen managers to gain insight of products and menu offerings

Requirements

  • Must be 21+ years of age
  • Must have a valid driver’s license 
  • Must not concurrently be employed by another alcohol licensee, as per Pennsylvania law
  • Must have Saturday availability
  • Fast learner, positive attitude, and team player
