We are excited to accept candidates for the role of Onsite Event Assistant at Wigle Whiskey and Threadbare Cider & Mead. This is a part-time position. Fun, educational, community-based events are the heart and soul of Threadbare Cider and Wigle Whiskey. The Onsite Event Assistant is responsible for assisting Threadbare staff during public events. Essential functions include, but are not limited to, assisting with set up and execution of cheese making classes and other food related workshops, leading mini tours during events, and helping as needed at large cider house and distillery festivals and events. We are looking for individuals who have a love of craft cider and Pittsburgh. 

Physical demands include, but are not limited to, setting up and breaking down event equipment and furniture, transporting supplies to different locations, and restocking bottles and merchandise. This is not an all inclusive summary of duties and responsibilities required of the Onsite Event Assistant and may change at any time with or without notice. 

This is a part time role, from 6-15 hours per week. Candidates need to have weeknight and weekend availability. The successful candidate should have the ability to arrive to weeknight events by 4pm.
