Server/Bartender (Part Time)
About The Position

The tasting room and restaurant at Wigle Whiskey celebrate craft spirits and local whiskey history. We are excited to expand our serving team with a part-time role. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, welcoming and seating guests, bartending, taking orders, delivering food and drinks, clearing tables, and taking payments while informing and educating customers on our menu and products, all in a timely manner. Physical duties include, but are not limited to, consistent movement throughout the restaurant and moving boxes of product and supplies.
The Wigle Whiskey kitchen aims to produce the highest quality local American fair with an emphasis on technique and execution. Much like our spirits, we will draw influence from the diversity of the region and take advantage of the wonderful produce and livestock that South-Western Pennsylvania has to offer.
The safety of our employees and customers are of the highest priority. We have set in place extensive health and safety standards that all employees must uphold.
Please note that as a manufacturer of spirits we are unable to hire an individual who will simultaneously work for another licensee.

- Service and bartending experience preferred
- Demonstrated communication skills
- Demonstrated passion for craft spirits and/or local history
- Weekend availability
- Has exceptional customer service skills.
- Basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions.
- Basic math skills and the ability to handle money and operate a point-of-sale system.
- Can work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 9 hours).
- Can safely lift and easily maneuver boxes weighing up to 25 pounds.
