Chef and forager Sara Bir will lead a tasting and cooking demo at the Threadbare Cider House on Wednesday, September 18th during the height of Pawpaw season! She’ll teach you the tips and tricks of gathering, storing, and processing this alluring fruit. We’ll taste recipes made with pawpaws and discuss strategies for getting the most out of their flavor. Plus we’ll pair them with two Threadbare ciders. Join us for a mini-tour of the Cider House after the tasting, plus a Q&A with Bir, who will have her cookbooks (The Pocket Pawpaw Cookbook, The Fruit Forager’s Companion) available for purchase.
