Sausage isn’t as complicated as you think! If you can make meatballs, you can craft wholesome sausage at home. In this demo, chef and charcuterie fanatic Sara Bir shows you how to grind your own meat and mix it into basic grind bulk sausage. You’ll get to try lamb, pork, and venison sausages–and we’ll make bratwurst right there in class. These are all bulk sausages that don’t require casing, but we’ll case some of the bratwurst just for fun. You’ll leave with four recipes and tons of tips. This class is gluten- and nut-free. Your $40 ticket includes a glass of cider when you arrive, light snacks, sausage and cider tastings, plus a mini-tour at the end of class!
